Description
Smash Burger Tacos combine the flavors of a smash burger with the convenience of a taco.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, quartered
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomato
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup diced onion
Instructions
- Mix ground beef with salt and pepper.
- Form into 8 small balls.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place each beef ball in the skillet and smash thin with a spatula.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.
- Place cheese quarters on each patty and let melt.
- Warm tortillas.
- Place each patty on a tortilla.
- Top with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, and onion.
- Fold and serve immediately.
Notes
- For spicier tacos, add jalapeños.
- Use your favorite burger toppings.
