Pistachio Tiramisu is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert. It features layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, and a rich pistachio flavor.

- 1 package (3 ounces) ladyfingers
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup pistachio liqueur (optional)
- 16 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely ground
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine cooled coffee and pistachio liqueur (if using). Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and arrange in a single layer in the bottom of a dish.
- In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the ground pistachios.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chopped pistachios.
Notes
- For a stronger pistachio flavor, add a few drops of pistachio extract to the mascarpone mixture.
- You can substitute almond liqueur or amaretto for the pistachio liqueur.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
