Ingredients

  • 10g fresh yeast
  • 10g salt
  • 50g dark molasses
  • 50g sunflower seeds
  • 50g pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Mix rye flour and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add yeast mixture, molasses, and seeds to the flour.
  4. Knead until a cohesive dough forms.
  5. Place dough in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • For a softer crust, brush with water immediately after baking.
