Ingredients

- 500g rye flour
- 200ml warm water
- 10g fresh yeast
- 10g salt
- 50g dark molasses
- 50g sunflower seeds
- 50g pumpkin seeds
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Mix rye flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Add yeast mixture, molasses, and seeds to the flour.
- Knead until a cohesive dough forms.
- Place dough in a greased loaf pan.
- Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- For a softer crust, brush with water immediately after baking.
- Add caraway seeds for a more traditional flavor.
- This bread keeps well for several days.
