- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- In a separate bowl, toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tofu to the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- Pour the honey soy glaze over the tofu and stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For crispier tofu, ensure it is well-pressed to remove excess water.
- You can add your favorite vegetables like broccoli, bell peppers, or snap peas to stir-fry with the tofu.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
