Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooked pasta, for serving

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in white wine or chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately over cooked pasta.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
  • If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley, but use less.
