Description
Crispy baked chicken wings tossed in a flavorful garlic parmesan sauce. This recipe offers a delicious alternative to fried wings, perfect for appetizers or a casual meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split at the joint, wingtips removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While wings are baking, prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic.
- Once wings are done, transfer them to a clean large bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the wings and toss to coat.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and toss again until all wings are evenly coated.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, pat them dry with paper towels before tossing with olive oil and seasonings.
- You can prepare the garlic butter sauce while the wings are baking to save time.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and Parmesan cheese to your taste preferences.
- These wings are best served hot and fresh.
