A quick and easy pasta dish featuring soft gnocchi in a rich and creamy pesto sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound gnocchi
- 1 cup prepared pesto
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook gnocchi according to package directions. Drain well.
- While gnocchi cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in pesto and Parmesan cheese until well combined and sauce is heated through.
- Add drained gnocchi to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a lighter sauce, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Add cooked chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for a more complete meal.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
