Description
Crispy baked cauliflower florets coated in a spicy buffalo sauce. A vegetarian alternative to buffalo wings.

- 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing (for serving, optional)
- Celery sticks (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Gradually whisk in the water until you have a smooth batter.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the coated cauliflower on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower bakes, combine the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl.
- Once the cauliflower is baked, add it to the buffalo sauce mixture and toss to coat.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy bites, bake the cauliflower for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
- Other dipping sauces like ranch can be used.
