- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Cut it into 1-inch wide strips.

- Take each puff pastry strip and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture along its length.
- Gently twist each strip several times to create a spiral effect.

- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the cheesecake filling is set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a teaspoon of lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture.
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps.
