Description

Easy and delicious baked feta pasta recipe. A simple dish with incredible flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (8 ounces) feta cheese
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound pasta
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place feta in the center of a baking dish.
  3. Surround feta with cherry tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until tomatoes burst and feta softens.
  7. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  8. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  9. Mash baked feta and tomatoes together.
  10. Add cooked pasta to the sauce.
  11. Toss to combine, adding pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  12. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
